War Pass Scores Handily in Gulfstream Park Allowance
2/24/2008 Gulfstream Park, Florida
What does a 1/9 on top pay for a $2 exacta? Well if it's War Pass you're betting on in his season debut and the second horse
Web Gem, also trained by Nick Zito, is second choice, it pays $2.60.
Here's the Daily Racing Form results chart.
Gulfstream Park Allowance Race?
War Pass kicked off his 3 year old debut in the 10th race at Gulfstream Park against a group of solid allowance and high priced
claimers.
That group will probably never run against a horse of that caliber again. Horse racing is an interesting endeavor isn't it?
Which leads you to wonder why War Pass was in such a soft spot? War Pass was 2 year Old Of The Year in 2007.
Four for four, earnings over $1.4 million. Running in a $60,000 allowance
race?
Kentucky Derby Or Bust
War Pass starts his personal journey to the the Kentucky Derby, still undefeated, a little?, richer and apparantly ready to rumble.

Nick Zito's plan according to Jay Privman, DRF,
He wants War Pass to have three starts before the Kentucky Derby on May 3. Sunday's race is designed to move him along to
next month's Grade 3, $300,000 Tampa Bay Derby. After that, War Pass will head to either the Grade 1, $750,000 Wood
Memorial at Aqueduct on April 5, or the Grade 1, $750,000 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland on April 12.
"I just want him to have a good experience coming back," Zito said. "To me, that's the most important thing. Then we can evaluate
where we stand."
